Earlier today we saw a couple leaked specs for what might be an improved, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, but according to this new leak, Google might get more Android manufacturers onboard in addition to Samsung. Now LG, and Sony might also be building their own Nexus devices, which is no doubt a rumor that a lot of fans have been looking forward to.
According to a Winter 2012 release schedule for NTT DoCoMo in Japan, there’s a lot of devices coming from manufacturers like NEC Casio, Panasonic, Fujitsu Toshiba, Sharp, Kyocera, HTC, Huawei, ZTE, Nokia and LTE, but the leak also shows a listing for a Samsung Galaxy Nexus II, an LG Optimus Nexus and a Sony Xperia Nexus.
Apart from that, there’s not much other information about these devices apart from the fact that they all have NFC built-in, and are a part of DoCoMo’s LTE service under the Xi series. Think this one’s real? We sure hope! Still strange that HTC (who made the original Nexus) and Motorola (who are now owned by Google) would be missing from the list though.
